After going back and forth he penciled in 50% of the price of the $99 leg kit. I reluctantly agreed. I had to wait at least another 1/2hr for him to bring me to the warehouse to get the stove. The warehouse is not with the Shop.

The store was supposed to be opened but nobody was there, what a waste of time.

I had terrible experiences with this place and cannot in good conscience recommend them to anybody! In keeping with the positive review, their salesperson is in fact very helpful. However, he does not own the store or do a majority of the business. In fact, his brother is the owner of the business and it's the owner who has completely put me off from ever doing business with them again.

I purchased a Napoleon TPI35 from them. The salesman did a great job of explaining the product to me and the sale went through smoothly. The first sign of a problem came when I mentioned the website advertised 10% off. The owner had just happened to come in and said it was not applicable because their website had not been updated. Frankly, I should have stood my ground because the website clearly advertised this, but I relented, I was told the stove would come in two weeks. I called the store weekly for 7 weeks and got the run around each time. Only when I threatened to call the better business bureau did the stove happen to show up in their warehouse that day! When I went to pick it up, I had to wait 30 minutes for the owner to show up at the warehouse. I was not even sure I had the right place as there was no one around or any signs.

Beware! The salesman is helpful, the prices are reasonable, but you are guaranteed poor service once you hand over that check. Good luck getting your stove and good luck if anything ever happens to it. You're on your own!

I purchased a Timberwolf 2200 on 12/13/2010. I called 2 times to get a quote on that stove plus just before I left to go pick up the stove. I's an hour and a half ride each way to this store for me. I spoke to the owner the first 2 times, he quoted me a price of a $100 less than when I got to the store. I gave him the model numberI had to wait for the owner to get get back from the warehouse, about 45 minutes. First he denied giving me that quote. The he remembered but said it was on a different stove. Even though on the phone I told him the Model Number: 2200 each time.

I called a few times and never could speak to the owner. I was always was told he's at the warehouse and will call you back. I explain the situation each time I call. Well 3 months still no call.

BUYER BE WHERE!!!!!!!!! !!

I feel I was taken advantage of only Partly because of the distance I had to travel.

Salesperson was very friendly and helpfull. Never felt pressured

When I finally got home about 4 1/2-5 hrs later I went over the receipt I found he never gave me the $50 discount.

I see he wasted no time responding to compliments, lets see if he responds to my rating as fast if at all.

Even if it means traveling a significant distance or spending more money, do it! You will not regret it!

I took the stove home and had it installed. Come the winter two months later, the stove stopped working. When I called for his help, he was nearly impossible to reach. When he finally called me back, he said he would charge me a service call to come and check out the stove. This is not even 4 months after I took it home! I ended up having to learn how to fix it myself. In two years, I've had to spend $700 in replacement parts (the exhaust fan was junk, I got some help from a website online that told me Napoleon had a bad batch of fans). The Napoleon company is useless when it comes to customer service and Valley Stove Shoppe quickly washed their hands of me after the purchase.

There are plenty of stove shops around pick another other one. I went there because he had the stove in stock. Hmmm, He knew he had it in stock even though he was quoting the wrong stove!
